WebP Support
When is Rise going to get support for WebP images so we don't have to use outdate gifs?

I've built a tool that converts all PNG/JPG/GIF files to WEBP and makes the corresponding changes to the output files. It's still in Beta but please check it and see what you think.
It can lower the overall SCORM file size by around 25% to 70%, meaning much faster loading times for your training and a significantly reduced carbon footprint - very often a key selling point for clients in this age.I'll post this to the main group so others can benefit.

And Storyline should also have support for webP.

Isn't WebP supported by every modern browser? If so, then why doesn't rise allow you too insert webp files in image upload dialog, assuming Rise 360 files are 100% html files? Since this question was posted over 4 years ago, I don't expect any real answers or changes as usual.

Forget it people, "This isn't in our Rise roadmap right now." is the Articulate kiss of death for a community suggestion, can't count the number of quality of life/flexibility requests I've seen Articulate politely ignore this way over the years.
