When revisiting course, its not resuming from where we left
Hai,
I have created course with having 8 quiz slides only, When running this course in SCORM cloud, after finish complete course and clicks END tab, course get close, then i revisiting again, its going to 7th slide (quiz), not is going to the END slide, if we keep only 6 quizes in it, it will work properly.
Please find attached story. file, could anyone please check and help with this.

I figured out the logic behind this behavior. Typically, when an interaction appears on a different slide and then returns to Slide 1 after completion, the LMS saves the progress based on that jump back point. So, when the user revisits the course, it resumes from the exact time where the "Jump to slide" trigger was originally activated on Slide 1.
The solution:
Insert a short, blank slide (0.1 seconds) just before the course ends. Set the interaction to jump to this blank slide first, and then have it jump back to Slide 1. This way, the LMS records the last activity as the transition from the blank slide, not the earlier trigger. As a result, when the user resumes the course, it will start from the point just before the course ended — essentially resuming from the end of Slide 1, as desired. - HaseebCommunity Member
I am also going through the same problem? Did you solved? As for SCORM 2004 it also doesn't work.
Hi Haseeb!
It sounds like you're experiencing issues with LMS resume behavior of your Storyline course!
I see that you're currently working with my teammate, Enelluar through a support case. It looks like he just replied to your e-mail sharing insight and follow-up questions.
We can continue the conversation through your case to keep all information in one spot.
Hello Ashok,
Based on the scenario described, you are completing the course and closing on the Result Slide. I can see that you have the Report Status for the LMS set to Passed/Failed. This setting sends both the completion and success status to the LMS.
You may find that the resume feature doesn't work as you'd expect after you've met the completion requirement for your course. Most LMSs consider a course to be in review mode after the tracking requirement is met. In review mode, resume data is no longer sent to the LMS, which prevents learners from accidentally changing their course status back to incomplete. See this article for more information.
- Is the Report Status set to the same setting in your other course?
- Are you reaching the result slide when testing the other course?

But in the Story. file have only 8 Question, if we run 100 slides course it will resume same place where we left, but if we play only 8 questions separate or combine in 100 slides it will not resume where we left. what is the issue here, as you mention about limits on suspend data for only assessment or whole slides include.

Hi Ashok,
Thanks for sharing your file! Usually, when a course fails to resume properly, it's because the LMS has reached its limits on suspend data.
The article below shares more, but try publishing your course with the SCORM 2004, 4th Edition settings and see if that helps!
