Why can't I hold progress on a knowledge check question that is answered incorrectly?
This functionality seems like a total no-brainer... what gives? I mean C'mon... most of Rise is pretty well thought out, but this is ridiculous.
Hello everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360, adding the new feature below:
- Knowledge check blocks can be added directly to question banks, have their content width and answer colors modified, be required for training progress, and have a set number of retries.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update!

Really disappointing to see how much time has passed without this really obvious flaw being addressed, especially considering the enormous cost of a corporate license.

Thanks for sharing Karl. Keep up the good work.

Hi Cormac,
If you dislike Rise so much why use it?

A client ask Karl. Infuriated would be a better word. Have you not noticed the posts here going back ten years?
The simplest of things get ignored. Case in point, you can't even save a customised colour.
But we get AI voiceovers instead.
Its a few sensible iterations away from a being good product.

Hi Cormac,
I've been active on the Rise forums for years, so yes, I've seen most of the issues raised, and I try to help out as much as I can.

Custom Color Palette
Set your favorite colors in theme settings, then quickly apply them anywhere custom color options are available.

Any update on this feature? Seems like a simple request. User cannot progress until the choose the correct response.

Any update to this please, been a good 3 years or so. I would look into using Storyline as a workaround but it defeats the point of using Rise at all here.

Thanks for your interest in this feature. No news yet, but we'll make sure to update this thread if we make changes that will help!

Im absolutely dumbfounded how this hasn't been fixed. It a simple line of code to give designers what they need. They must not on purpose be implementing it to cannibalise their 360 product.

Please add this feature request.

Hi there, I would just like to add my request for this feature in Rise. I can do the workaround in SL but it would be SO much faster to just insert a Rise knowledge check and add a progress restriction. Especially if the material is such that there are constantly knowledge-checks spread throughout the course.
That would make so much sense.
Thank you, Suzanne. I'll add your notes to our report for this feature request!
