XR / VR / AR in Articulate
Hi all, I see that Adobe Captivate has added a VR component to their course building toolkit. We are currently investigating this technology in our organization and was wondering if Articulate plans to deploy anything like this in the near future? How would we be able to implement this into to Storyline 360?

Hi, Doug!
I have exciting news to share!
We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 54, we’ve included important fixes and new features.
One of the features we’ve included is:
Create immersive learning experiences with 360° images. Add interactive elements, such as hotspots and markers to engage learners as they explore.
360° images are currently in public beta for Storyline 360, which means you can use them for production as we continue to enhance them.
To take advantage of this feature, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.

Hi Doug,
We’re working on a 360° Media feature that will allow you to create immersive learning experiences with 360° images and videos. You can read more about all the features we have planned here.
When we have more specifics on the feature or timing, we’ll update these linked E-Learning Heroes discussions!

Hi Lindsey,
Thanks for your interest in 360° images!
We added streaming video support for videos in 360° images in the April 4, 2023 (Build 3.74.30180.0) version of Storyline. We also fixed several issues related to 360° images. You can find details of those changes in the Storyline 360 Version History by clicking CTRL+F in your browser and typing "360°."
