lucky you! i had the same error message and it deleted all my slides. still am unable to get it back. will have to recreate everything i've done for the last 2 weeks.
Looks like this is being fixed with the next update, which I believe will be going through testing very soon. The release date really depends on how long this update has to be active in testing, but this is a good sign that it shouldn't be much longer.
We'll share any additional information as soon as we have it.

I imported the slides to a new project and then it worked.
Still, it was driving me crazy.

Unfortunately this is a known issue. It'll be fixed in the next software update for Storyline. In the meantime, you can correct it byimporting all your slides into a new story file.
