First of all, thank you for this opportunity! As a final year MSIDT student at CSU Fullerton, I’ve been learning best practices and theories in ID, while applying them as I interact with Articulate Storyline and Rise. The latest update of the custom blocks on Rise really excited me, and I experimented using them in a module I built for an assignment. The accessibility checker update was a game-changer for me as I became more familiar about developing with accessibility in mind. Ever since I fell in love with the field of ID, learning to use the Articulate platform has reminded me of the importance of being intentional with design. Even when there are so many interactions and visual elements available to use. 

Attending DevLearn would be an incredible opportunity to get first-hand experience and learn how platforms such as Articulate and other L&D professionals use their toolkit and software to create actionable learning. My short answer is I would love to go to DevLearn because it reminds me to stay curious, keep learning, and embrace lifelong learning!
