Getting inspired and creative: Portfolio of Work
Mar 27, 2012
Inspired by Tom Kuhlmann and Stephanie Harnett - I have been looking for visual design inspiration from all over the place - online, in print, on TV... Initially this was to inspire my eLearning course designs and layout, then it hit me.... why not use Articulate Presenter as the "Portfolio" that will hold and present my work to my current and future clients? So have started designing and am looking forward to share with you.... but in this discussion, I wanted to share some resources that have got me thinking visually:

I'm with you on that one Katherine - have been toying with the idea of building an interactive portfolio in Studio for some time. Just haven't had the time. I reckon it would be a pretty engaging way of well ... engaging!
One thing I would add is that it might be worth you hanging fire until the release of Storyline (if that's the path you're looking to go down) - after all, we should be looking at weeks instead of months now
Hi guys - I totally agree with you both - I created a visual CV to get my current job, worked pretty well - this was a year or so ago, so I'm really excited about updating it and using Storyline for my next attempt.
My dream is a completely interactive CV/portfolio!!!

Hi Ant,
Just wanted to thankyou for sharing your visual CV; truly outstanding.
Kind regards
Danny
Hi Simon and Ant,Thanks so much for your feedback... And Ant, all I can say is wow! thanks so much for sharing!
I have been keeping my eye on storyline as it develops... It will be great... I will however need to start on my visual/virtual CV, so will do that and see how I go... I have just gone freelancing so this will be a great way to attract clients to sign on the dotted line... Fingers crossed
I have 2 side projects to complete before I get to start working on my Digital Portfolio/Resume (It will be in Storyline). Mine has been in the planning stages for some time now, and I just can't wait to get started on it.
This was a post a few weeks back that focused on design: http://community.articulate.com/forums/t/9193.aspx
That was awesome. The music got distracting at parts, but the content was fierce! Set that bar high...I am ready to respond to the challenge. In Storyline. With a bit less experience.
Hi Kathryn - really looking forward to your work!!!! When do you expect to get started? And do you have any other work online that we can take a look at in the meantime?
Thanks
Ant

This is the best interactive CV/Resume I've seen.
