I am looking to highlight a portion of the image (a logo which has 4 sections in a circle layout). I want to highlight 1 section per slide in PPT.
Please share your thoughts on this. Also, if you could suggest other ways to do this - objective being highlighting a section and describe it. I have used the Engage interaction - Guided Image as an option but looking at other better alternatives.
You could use the spotlight in sync animations, or use a labelled graphic add markers for all 4 areas on your image and then add larger images of that section in the marker for that section along with the description
I did a blur effect with the image blurred out and then a cropped version enlarged on top, grouped/saved. But I think this is a PPT 2010 feature. Might be hard with a circle layout though...

Here's a quick Screenr on how to do something like that with PPT. https://player.vimeo.com/video/149185873
