Recently, when I launch Storyline, I'm greeted with a mostly-empty splash screen that says "When you're connected to the Internet, Storyline will provide helpful tutorials and free templates here." Yet, I am connected to the Internet when I get this message. I know that this screen used to display correctly. I'm not sure what's broken or how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks for your quick reply. Here are the answers to your questions:
I've tried restarting the machine and closing/reopening Storyline many times, to no avail.
I am connected to the Internet via Ethernet cable and am able to access the Internet in a browser window at the same time Storyline is telling me I'm not connected to the Internet.
I am using Storyline version 3 (1305.2012) on a Windows 7 machine.
I do have Windows firewall enabled, but I believe it was enabled prior to this issue as well. The only other change I know of is changing my router DNS settings to openDNS.

Hi Deb,
Have you tried restarting the machine, or closing and reopening Storyline?
What type of internet connection are you using?
Also, can you tell me what version of Storyline you're using, please? To find this information, click on "Help" and "About Articulate Storyline".
If you're not running version 3 (1305.2012), please download and install the update using the link below:
Articulate - Storyline Update 3
Thanks very much!
Christine

Hi Deb,
Thanks for getting back to me!
Are you running through a firewall, by any chance? Are you running anything new on the machine, maybe a new anti-virus, etc.?
You could also try using Gerry's suggestion:

Let me know if that helps.
Thanks again!

Hi Deb,
So sorry for not getting back to you sooner.
Have you seen any improvement so far?
Thanks!
