New in Labs: Connected Packages
Is this coming to Storyline as well?

Hi DonielleB, Storyline isn't in the plans yet, but could you tell me more about hosting your Storyline course inside Articulate would be helpful?

catganim I tend to build more courses in Storyline than Rise. Currently, we use Reach 360 to deploy, and it's been wonderful having the ability to make small adjustments without having to download, upload and replace SCORM files. In the near future, we will be moving to another LMS and I am not looking forward to going back to the old process of downloading SCORM files. It would make things so much easier if there was a connected packages that allowed me to continue pushing minor updates as needed.

DonielleB Thanks so much for taking the time to share the additional context.

A direct Storyline connection would be perfect. The benefit of publishing a scorm (connected package) from Storyline would be that the user retains their progress and can continue where they left off. If I instead upload the same Storyline to a Rise course, then the user starts the Storyline interaction from scratch every time the page on the Rise course loads.
Alternative/additional solution would be to work on the Rise side to have the Storyline retain progress for the user. Perhaps an easier option? Please correct me if I am wrong and this is already a feature 😄
