Memory Game Demo and Source File
Sep 28, 2012
I saw in another post someone talking about a memory style game, so I decided to try and make one myself. I also thought I'd share it so others can use it. The "cards" are images with 3 states (normal - meaning the card back, flipped - meaning what you want to match, and finally the matched version). These are images, so to modify for your own use, simply change the images. Be careful of image size when doing this so they look right. You could add more cards if you wanted to, just watch what I've done already, and you should be able to figure it out.
Please let me know if you use this or what you think of it.

I forgot to set the slide to reset to initial state when re-visiting, so you'll have to reload to re-try the example, or change that setting if you use this in your courses.
Sweet! Thanks for sharing
I found this...Thanks a lot !!!!
What would I have to setup if the user was to go back in and redo the activity?
Hi Mike,
You'd have to set the slide to "Reset to Initial State" when re-visiting, or you could add a trigger that when the timeline starts on the slide the interaction gets reset. I haven't tested this, but that's what I'm thinking you'd have to do. It's been a while since I've played with this and don't have time to re-try it right now.

Hi Jeremy,
Your memory game is awesome. I was wondering if you would be able to show everyone the steps on how to re-create this memory game from scratch.

Hi Kristian! I wanted to pop-in and welcome you to E-Learning Heroes! Jeremy included his .story file above which shows the course design. I'm not sure if he's subscribed to this thread still, so you may need to send him a private message if needed.
Hi Leslie,
Thanks for the advice.
Of course
