Menu template alignment

Oct 08, 2012

I have a course that when published the menu tabs at the top are expanded or wider than the template frame.  See attached image.  I have not been able to find the exact cause, but have removed a number of screens and the problem disappeared.  I'm using the default   Width: 720 Height: 540 screen size for my design.  Does anyone know what might be causing this published screen size to enlarge?  Preview works fine.

I have uploaded the course for evaluation.

Thanks for the quick response Gren!

This is a great learning note for anyone that accidently checks a custom feature on only one slide.

Thanks for contacting Articulate Support!

I understand that your Storyline output is displayed in a wider player template.

Thanks for uploading the screenshots and the Storyline files. Checking the Storyline file, the cause of this issue is Slide 1.11 Manufacturing Data Center. If you check the player features that are enabled for this slide, the Glossary is enabled. When the sldie is previewed, the Glossary is displayed at the right side of the window, thus making the player template wider. This affects all the slides in your Storyline file, as Storyline is allotting space for the Glossary panel.

To resolve the issue, just disable the Glossary for this slide, then republish your content. The output should now display as expected (narrow player template).

Just reply to this email if you need more help.
