I'm trying to have my slide Masters arranged in a consistent position. Is there a way to drag them around as in PP or at least a way to insert one in a particular spot in the order? Right now when I copy and paste, the newly pasted slide master always goes to Position 1 and I want it at Position 5. Thanks.
Yep keeping the shop clean is a nice thing to strive for, yet sometimes the means to do so are missing
So unfortunately, you can’t, unless you delete them insert them again, and still this is difficult, if 1 slides uses a layout, you cannot delete the master
Yet there is another possibility. Via PPT.
1.Create you masters in PPT and preserve them.
2.Create 1 slide
3.Import that 1 slide (thanks to preserving , your masters will be imported)
4.Assign the right layouts to your slides in SL
5.Un-tick the preserve flag of you now obsolete old SL master slide
