I'm having trouble getting a complete on my course. I'm using number of slides viewed to get a complete.
I have allowed for a couple of slides that the user doesn't have to see (zooming pf pictures) but I use a lot of other lightbox slides they are required to view before moving on. So it should be 176 out of 179 for example.
Do you think the lightbox slides aren't tracked? Should I just count the main slides?
Lightbox slides should be considered for tracking purposes. Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team. The articles here and here may also help clear up common LMS issues.
Can you clarify what you mean by Lightboxes should be considered? Do you mean, yes they are usually tracked, or no they are not?
I assumed Lightbox slides weren't being tracked and have found a work around for now anyway. I counted just the number of main slides, since there are conditions which mean every lightbox slide will be visited anyway. That worked and it is now showing complete.
Hmm so that means I don't know WHY it's now working and it wasn't before. Bugger. I thought that was the answer (trackbox slides not being tracked). In that case, I am only tracking half the course which is not ideal. I may try the Scorm test idea, thanks.
Hmm, I've always been under the impression that lightbox slides are indeed tracked. If you'd like, we'd be happy to take a closer look at it. Please submit a case, including your .story file, using this link so our support team can assist you further.
I thought I'd come back and post the final solution. We changed each slide to Resume saved state, used Scorm 2004 and only counted the main slides (not the lightbox slides). After that everything worked perfectly, resumed at the right point, completed properly etc, both on pc and ipad.
Oh I should have said, this originally completed perfectly in Scorm cloud just not in Litmos, but the fix was in Articulate, changing the saved state so now it works in Litmos too.

Complete didn't work in Scorm either.
Hmm I have noticed that any lightbox slides listed in the menu, do not grey out after visiting them. This seems like they aren't being tracked.
