This week, I created a sample Non-Profit Volunteer Training project inspired by the onboarding experience volunteers might complete for The Hope Effect.
Built in Articulate Storyline, this introductory course is designed to welcome new volunteers, introduce the organization's mission and values, and prepare them for their role with a clear, engaging learning experience.
For this concept, I focused on:
- A clean, approachable visual design
- Simple navigation for first-time learners
- A learner-centered experience that balances storytelling with practical guidance
The goal was to demonstrate how thoughtful instructional design can help nonprofits create meaningful onboarding experiences that inform, engage, and inspire volunteers from day one.
