Highlighting sections on screen in peek

May 10, 2019

Is there a way in Peek 360 to highlight the section you're referring to?  For example, you want to highlight the search box by putting a red rectangle around it or have an arrow point to a section on the screen.  Is that possible?  If so, how do you do it? If not, any other suggestions?

Hi Kim,

Welcome to E-learning Heros! I don't think Peek 360 will let you add anything in that wasn't naturally being shown on your screen.  If you are using Windows though, there is a mouse setting that might work for you.

1. Go to Control panel (with view set to large or small icons) > Mouse.

2. On the Pointer Options tab the last checkbox is "Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key".  Check this checkbox.

3. Click the Apply button and Ok button to close out of the mouse options.

Now if you click control you get a circle than shrinks to highlight the location of your cursor.  I use this all the time screen sharing to direction attention to the correct place on screen.
