When talking about moving the iPad, are you talking about going from portrait to landscape? Do you have a link to the course for me to test on my end? You can share it here or PM if you want. Either will work.
support for mobile devices in the SCORM player in Moodle is crap - I have a GSOC student working on this at the moment for Moodle 2.6 I have been testing his latest code today which does some nice responsive design using grids - it's still buggy and not ready for normal use but looks like it will improve it a lot.

The GSOC work landed in Moodle 2.6 last week but there's always further improvements we can make - would be keen to hear feedback from people that are able to test a Moodle 2.6 site.

Normally this is an issue with the css in moodle and needs tweaking to display on the ipad correctly
