Prezi Question
May 11, 2011
I signed up for and created a little Prezi presentation. I see that I can embed the prezi html code...post it into my web editor and save as an html file and import that as a web object in presenter and it works just fine. My question is, can you manipulate the code in such a way that the presentation starts and runs automatically without the end user having to choose autorun, AND can you disable the Prezi playbar so that essentially, you have an autorunning flash presentation? Thanks guys...having fun!

Hi Brock,
Unfortunately, I don't believe that Prezi currently supports a variable in the URL to "auto run" it and disable the Prezi playbar. However, you might try contacting the Prezi peeps directly about their embed code.
Another tip - when inserting a private Prezi as a web object appearing in a separate browser window, I have found that the best results come from customizing the window size to 960 x 660.
A few things:
If you want to prezi in a webobject to autoload try this

just change the ref with yours
If you want to embed an offline prezi in articulate try this tutorial. Files also

Hi All,
I have embeded an offfline prezi in articulate following Jonathan's instructions and I'm getting several errors:
Any ideas on how to fix this? thanks so much!!!
~Cheers~
Denise
Hi Denise,
It sounds like you're testing the file on your local machine instead of online. Thus, you're running into security issues in your browser. Uploading the content online & testing it there should resolve the issue.
Tutorial done for exactly this ..might be helpful Prezxi offline in AP9
See the point that resolves the security thing

I am using the ap9 files for running a local prezi withing Articulate, but I am getting a script error when I go to leave the page. All works ok, but just hangs with the script error when I get to the end. Any ideas?
I've attached a screengrab here.
Many thanks,
Fiona.
This is a variant on the theme. I successfullt embeded a Prezi in Presenter, now I want to embed it in Engage. Anyone have a workaround for that? Thanks in advance!
Auto play and auto start really make a Prezi a powerful tool but it seems everyone is struggling with implementing this.
I found even this didn't work: http://prezi.com/vitrfqforehv/view/?autoplay=autostart#1
The only way I got it working was to use the Prezi API which also allows you to disable navigation, set time intervals between path jumps etc..
I recommend googling Prezi API and learning how to use it, If anyone needs assistance to get this working commercially I may be able to help for a small donation.
Hi Julz and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! It does not appear that the link you shared is working though.
