Quizmaker Hyperlink

Mar 06, 2011

Hi there

Could you please advise how I could go about inserting a hyperlink in Quizmaker pointing to the 'Next Slide'? When I highlight text and click 'Insert Hyperlink' I am only given a choice to enter a website address please see pic 1, but I would like to have more options as shown in pic 2.

Thanks in advance for your advice

Hi Tanya-

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

It's currently not possible to create hyperlinks between slides in Quizmaker, but we always welcome product feedback:

Setting your player template to Display question list navigation panel would at least allow your users to manually navigate between questions, so maybe that would help.

Not sure if this is exactly what you want but it may be a workaround for you...

Blank Slides

Blank slides can be helpful and the more advanced you become the more you can do with them. I have not begun to experiment with them yet but I have an upcoming project I plan to hopefully use quite a few.

Based on the comments here, I'm inferring that the answer to my question will be no, but I'll ask anyway.

Right now I've got a series of questions in my quiz. I've provided feedback for each by answer so that it's very tailored. What I'd like to do is include a hyperlink within each incorrect feedback option that will take learners back to the specific point in the course where that content is covered. Is that possible without using blank slides? The blank-slide solution seems just a bit too cumbersome given the quantity of feedback options I have (if it'll even work).

Thanks in advance and let me know if you need me to clarify.

Hi Laura- thanks for asking. You are correct that the answer is no. You can only provide feedback within the quiz, or branch to another slide / question within the quiz based on a correct / incorrect response - not jump to a specific place in your course (you can only do that based on pass / fail of entire quiz).

You're welcome to share your feedback, though:
