I have a training module that is taken by students who like to get 100% on their quizzes. I have my presentation split into 3 sections with a short quiz after each and they are all combined for a final score on the Results slide. How do I let my students retake the quizzes without having to go through all of the content again?
Well, it really depends on how you have the quizzes, navigation and menu navigation set up. If you don't have your course "locked down", you could enable the quiz slides in the menu and allow users to access them from there. So, if they retry the quiz and they're taken back to the first quiz slide, they could submit their response and skip the content between that question and the next question by accessing the following questions through the menu.
Just a thought :) Like I said, though, that method would really depend on how the course is set up and how comfortable you are with allowing users to move through the menu.
Christine is of course right that "it all depends."
Just in case this works, I thought I'd upload it. You've said:

This is different than what you want to do; you want to allow users to RETRY the quiz without going through the content slides. You can do this in the same way. In fact, I used my original story, added one more variable and trigger on the results slide and used all the same triggers on the quiz slides. It does what you want - well, it does what I THINK you want . Because ... it all depends!
The attached is not in sections, but you'd just need to make those adjustments.
Can you please advise how to use your method showed in tutorial, when user should return not to all questions, but only wrongly replied questions. How I can set 'jump to slide' option, if any from the 1st quiz/2quiz/3quiz questions can be 'last' or 'first'
which is set up so that upon clicking the review button Learners only see Quiz slides, not content slides.
I interpreted your question in this way: you'd like Learners to only review only quiz slides and only where they answered incorrectly. Please refer to the attached. Because the explanation is rather long and would take up a lot of space here, I included it in the notes section of the slides.
Slide 1.1 notes has variables that are used
Slide 1.2 - Pick One Q1, 1.4 - Pick One Q2, and 1.6 - Pick One Q3 notes about: States, Slide Triggers, Player Trigger for those slides
Slide 1.8 Results slide notes about Review button being initially set to hidden since you only want Learners to see incorrect questions.
After each chapter there is a quiz. So there are 6 quizzes in total (with questions from one to nine).
Also I have 1 Results slide which take results from all quizzes, and there is 1 attempt to retake ‘quizzes’.
IT MEANS THAT! User should be navigated only to the wrongly replied questions from all 6 quizzes.
Afterwards he will go through all 'previously wrongly replied questions' and spent 1 attempt, he should be navigated back to Results slide.
And here I have few problems:
1 – on Retake, there are showing wrongly answered questions only from the 1st quiz (no ‘connection’ to other 5 quizzes)
2 – after used attempt, user is navigated to Table of Contents, not back to Results slide At first sight it looks like simple task, but I already do not know how to solve my issue.
I will look into your example, hope it will help me somehow to come up with any ideas..
Well, I hope also my example will help you to get started. Perhaps you can post your story, or part of it, here after you get started so the community can help you along.
Thank you, Rebecca, I already submitted my case to Storyline team.
Maybe after all if such course 'logic' will not be available in this program, I will need to combine all quizes in one and put it on the separate scene to be available after user will go through all chapters.
Hi Sacha! I checked on Jelena's case for you and the conclusion was that she was looking for design support/assistance and was referred back to the forums for community assistance. Perhaps Jelena would be able to update you further on this and, in case she's not subscribed to this thread, you may want to send her a PM.
I'm using your method but when I get to the point of unticking the Next button when I'm adding a condition to the first quiz slide, your video mentions that the trigger I've just created (that is, jumping to the next quiz slide) should stay, but it doesn't.... I click 'untick' and the trigger disappears.
If the trigger is disappearing when you uncheck the "next" button we'd want to take a look at your .story file and see if we can spot anything that could be interfering with the behavior.
Tx, Ashley, for jumping in. I'm not getting into the forums as often as I'd like. Jenny, yes, please, if you can upload the .story someone can troubleshoot.
If you can't upload the original .story file here as the content is private you can always create a sample/mocked up version that exhibits the same behavior and share it with us. If you'd prefer to share the original .story file with me directly and it'll be kept confidential, I've sent you directions on how to share.
If you could send me directions of how to send the file directly, that would be great It would take me ages to knock up a sample version as I'm still learning how to use the software.
Just wanted to post a quick update on this because I spoke with a user that was having an issue making this work. It seems like this workaround works only in Storyline 1, not in Storyline 2. If anyone finds a way to make it work in Storyline 2, I'm sure the community would be grateful if you shared how you did it.
Within Storyline 2 the previous set up of "tricking" the navigation no longer worked as it did in Storyline 1. There are a few other ideas in this thread that may help you accomplish what you're looking for.

Hi Suzy and Christine,
Christine is of course right that "it all depends."

So, some background:
I recently created a tutorial entitled Yes you can! Set up Articulate Storyline review quiz to advance only through quiz slides-skip content slides.
This is different than what you want to do; you want to allow users to RETRY the quiz without going through the content slides. You can do this in the same way. In fact, I used my original story, added one more variable and trigger on the results slide and used all the same triggers on the quiz slides. Let us know how it goes!
Dear Rebecca,
Can you please advise how to use your method showed in tutorial, when user should return not to all questions, but only wrongly replied questions. How I can set 'jump to slide' option, if any from the 1st quiz/2quiz/3quiz questions can be 'last' or 'first'
Thank you
Hi Jelena,
Wow! A challenge indeed!
You referenced this tutorial: Yes you can! Set up Articulate Storyline review quiz to advance only through quiz slides-skip content slides.
which is set up so that upon clicking the review button Learners only see Quiz slides, not content slides.

Please shout out with any questions!
Thanks Becky for popping back in to address Jelena's question
Dear Rebecca,
Thank you very much for your reply!
And I really apologize that was not clear enough.

Just hope that course requester will agree.
Hi Jelena! Thanks for the update. I can see where you have submitted your case (#00361180 for my reference) and will be following along as well.
Hi Leslie & Jelena, I am experiencing similar challenges also and keen to understand how this was resolved if you are able to share!
Hi Sacha! I checked on Jelena's case for you and the conclusion was that she was looking for design support/assistance and was referred back to the forums for community assistance. Hey Rebecca,
Thank you for the video
I'm having a problem, and wonder if you can help?

That's great thanks
I'm pretty new to this! Can you please let me know a 'safe' place to upload? The presentation has sensitive info.
Thanks again :-)
Jenny
Hi Jenny,
If you can't upload the original .story file here as the content is private you can always create a sample/mocked up version that exhibits the same behavior and share it with us. Hi Jenny,
Certainly - directions have been sent along and I'll keep my eyes peeled for the file.

Hi Maggie,
