Retry Quiz button - Storyline

Hi T K, yes there is a way to do this.

First disable the Retry Quiz and Review Quiz options in the Results slide option.

Then go to your failure slide and add your own button - you can then add a trigger to Review Results.

Next go the Success slide - add another button that jumps to the start of your quiz.

Make sure you add a trigger on the first quiz slide to Reset Results and make sure the " when revisting property on each slide is set to set to inital state"

My "Retry Quiz" button is not working at all.  I have my storyline project loaded to Articulate Online as well as Moodle LMS and neither are allowing me to retry quiz.  It goes now where even though I have set the button value to "retry quiz" on the results page.  I also have the check box marked in the options tab to allow learners to retry quiz.  Any help you might be able to provide would be most appreciate.

I would be able to see the published project if you sent me the link, but I wouldn't be able to see how it's set up with that. If you're unable to upload the file here, you're welcome to submit it in a support case. You should be able to attach the file on the second page of the form. Keep in mind, we'll need the .STORY file for the course, so you'll only need to attach one file. So, say your project's name is "MyProject", the project file would be "MyProject.story" and it will be listed as an "Articulate Storyline Story" file.

I am having the same problem as Jasmine with a quiz that draws from a question bank.  My retry quiz button doesn't work.  I saw where Jasmine was asked about the number of attempts for the quiz, but I don't see where you control that for the overall quiz.  I see where you can manage the attempts per question. I have it set for 1 attempt per question.  Have you had any resolution to your problem?

I'm sorry for the delay, I wasn't in the office yesterday. I did take a quick look and I was able to find the case you submitted for this issue. Looks like John was working with you. Were you able to resolve the issue with the suggestions he sent?

I think I know what the problem  is. You have to set the setting individually within the results page, and the fail result is defaulted to hidden in quizmaker 13. 

In other words, the retry button is checked, but that's only for students that pass. You have to unhide the fail results screen, and allow retries there as well.  I put a screen grabs to show exactly where to click when viewing the quiz results section. 

Articulate should consider adding a dialog box for this, as it is very counter-intuitive and took me a while to figure out.

I am having the same problem with the Retry button.  I read through the posts hoping to find an answer but when I get to the end I find a solution which applies to Quizmaker while the topic heading references Storyline...?

The last post in this thread is about 2 years old, so I think we'd want to start fresh with you in terms of knowing:

• What version and update of  Storyline are you using? (the latest are Storyline 1 Update 10 and Storyline 2 Update 7) 
• How are you publishing your course to test the retry button? Web, LMS, etc.?
• Are you uploading to the intended environment or testing it locally? 
• What happens when clicking on the retry button?

Could you share a copy of your .story file here with us so that we can take a look? 

I have a question about the "Retry" button on the Results Screen.

I only want the Retry button to be available if they have failed to pass. Please, can you provide me with the steps I need to take to accomplish this or an example?  I am using Articulate 360 with the latest updates.
