Courses are no longer saving topic review progress

Nov 22, 2021

Recently the courses in StoryLine 360 that I have developed have presented a problem that had not been presented before. When the student suspends the course and clicks exit, the progress is supposed to be saved, so that when the course returns it will start where it was suspended. Now, the course returns the student to a random slide and they have to go back to review all the topics they have seen before. I found that if you change that slide for a new one, the error is recorded in the sequence. Could you help me to solve this?

Hello!

We are happy to help! It sounds like the user is returning to one specific slide even if they've left off on another slide. First, I'd look at the Menu and reset the Menu to the default setup. Next, are you noticing this when previewing the course and publishing it?

It would be helpful to take a look at the project. You can share the .story file with us privately in a support case.
