I have a several slides that have the NEXT button hidden at the beginning of the slide. Why does it show at the beginning of each slide for a split second, even when hidden?
Will it do that when actually going through the course?
Thanks for providing those details! This matches an open issue in Storyline 3 and Storyline 360:
Behavior: Slide navigation buttons appear for a second even if there's a trigger to change their state to Hidden when the timeline starts.
Workarounds: 1. Add a trigger to show the button at a certain point in the slide. 2. Add a custom button and set the built-in button to Hidden.
I'll share this post with our team so we can notify you of any changes. If either suggestion doesn't help, we're happy to communicate with you in a case to explore further!
We appreciate your patience while our team investigated this.

Hi Katie,
Thanks for the reply.
Just an FYI, the workaround #1 that you suggest, is exactly what I have, and the exit button is showing, I think because of that.
Thanks!
Ken
