Future of Articulate considering the end of Flash support by Adobe

Hi, I am not smart enough to guess what I should do with my contents considering the end of Flash here

https://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2017/07/adobe-flash-update.html

I wonder what is the impact of it for my website with lectures made with Articulate 09 and what could be a solution or workaround.

Thanks for any clue.

Hi Myres,

Articulate Studio '09 did not include an HTML5 component - so on the day in 2020 that Adobe ends support for Flash, they would still work if the user was viewing the course in a browser that had flash enabled.

The end of Flash support doesn't mean that Flash stops working that day - just that Adobe will no longer offer updates or fixes for it.

We've invested heavily in HTML5 and you'll find that Storyline 3 and Articulate 360 have the HTML5 first or HTML5 only publishing options. You can read a bit more about our shift towards HTML5 here.

If you'd like to get started with a trial of Articulate 360 you could try upgrading a few of your Studio '09 files to see how they look for you. Once you're ready to make the switch, our Customer Care team is happy to talk through pricing and loyalty discounts.
