Access to content via password
Aug 24, 2019
Hi,
I would like a confirmation! It doesn't seem to me that in RISE 360 it is possible in some way to be able to manage an access to a content through a password!
Example: publish an interactive button in an educational activity to access the selected link (for a specific tutorial) only after entering the default password!
Obviously my solution is to manage access from a website through a restricted access!
If I remember correctly the same goes for Storyline 360 ... I don't think there is any functionality in this sense except in this case by managing a programming in Javascript!
Do you have any ideas?
Thank you

The password in review is managed by review not Rise, on your website you need to install 1this. Wordpress has lots of plugins that do this, Learndash will do this and works well with Rise Content.
I know all these solutions I use Joomla and it’s not difficult an access
reserve!
I’m looking for a solution within Rise!
In the meantime I used the password from share menu!
I don’t think Rise will get this option, it is not something I have seen in authoring tools and most users will use inside an LMS which already has authentication.

The share function As I understand the EULA is not to be used in a production environment (I.e share with users) but is more for preproduction.

Hi Phil,
I too think so, even though it could still be produce a course for a number
of people to dedicate exclusive teaching activities! I still use Articulate
Out of the e-learning platforms.
Thanks
