Any ideas on how to do this?

Apr 11, 2017

Hi!

I've created a Rise lesson with the information security policy of my company, and we would like to include a checkbox at the end so that users can "check" and confirm they have read the policy and commit to it. Is there any way of making this "checkbox" compulsory? Otherwise, users can just read the policy and close the window and that would mark the lesson as complete.

Any ideas of how to accomplish this? Is it even possible?

Thanks!

Hi Pamela,

Have you checked out the latest element added to Rise, the “Continue” block? That may be just what you need to have a prompt reminding users that they’ve got something to do and set the “confirmation” just prior to that? Take a look at Adam’s post here and he’s got some helpful tips in there to get you started!

I did a quick video of an example I had made showing the "Checklist" block and then a continue block just below it.

Hope that helps!
