The ability to add attachments to Rise courses is definitely on our roadmap (the ETA is still fluid). In the interim, if you host your documents elsewhere, you can turn any Rise text into a hyperlink.
I'd love a response to this...I have seen it done with Google Docs, but it would be more useful to my medical students to use Office 365. I keep getting errors though.
Hi Chino! I'm back at it. Our org is moving away from Google Docs soooo gotta get this to work. I get errors when I try to embed the Office 365 Word Doc. I tried grabbing both the embed code and also just the open link. In Rise, I'm using the Multimedia Embed block. Both times it says that "fiudit-my.sharepoint.com refused to connect." I'm thinking our security on SharePoint/Office 365 is blocking even though my document links are for editing and open to everyone?

Thanks for giving Rise a try!

Hi Laura,
I am here to help. Can you send me a screenshot of the error that you are getting? Also, can you send me your embed code?
Thank you.
5 years and it is still in works? Stop lying and actually improve your EXPENSIVE product.
Hi Jonny,
It seems you somehow missed the Attachment Block that was added to Rise back in March 2017. It allows you to embed Word, Excel, PDF, etc.

I'm gonna try to go through Storyline as well because I need to block to actually have some stops, but I'm still thinking its more a security issue.
