There's not currently a way to add closed captions to audio or video clips in Rise 360. That being said, we do have a feature request logged for that capability, so I'll go ahead and add your voice to that discussion and share any updates with you here.
In the meantime, if there’s anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
The only thing preventing us from buying 360 is cc - that is easy to do right now in Captivate... please add it - we use voice recordings and video - need CC for both.
I want to add my audio instructions ABOVE the audio area. Is this possible and how do I do that. There is no option to select where the caption can be?
I haven't really used Audio but at times I've wanted a label or instructions above an interaction. I just add a text box above it with either just a Header if that's all I need or a Paragraph with a Header to add instructions. I also frequently go into Settings and reduce or remove the padding at the bottom so the directions are closer to the interaction I'm explaining.
Hope this helps.
Rosemary
While we don't have an audio captioning feature on our roadmap right now, I would recommend adding the audio transcript to an Accordion block below the audio. Here's how that would look:
Please also add my voice to the request Allison, Rise is something I've started to use more often and have avoided putting too much audio and video content in because it's not truly accessible. thanks!

Sorry, I just saw your messages. Here's how it works, enter the audio file in Adobe Premiere Pro, add the relevant images, then add subtitles, and finally the MP4 file. Hope this helps you guys.
This request was made more than 2 years ago and it seems that, up to now, no solution has been found and/or implemented?
Could you kindly provide an update to everybody who participated in this issue so that we all know what is happening with it?
Trusting the above to be in order.
Kind regards

Hi all... you can absolutely add Closed captions to videos in RISE. This has been a feature for awhile... just go to the "edit" option next to the video file and then select "manage captions".. select the language and upload the CC file.

Hi Allison,
Please add my voice as well, we need to have accessible media options to use Rise.
Thanks!
Me too. I recently had a branch of our organization ask about producing training that included Closed Captioning.

Is this coming any time soon? If not, how would you recommend we add a transcript to an audio track for those who need/want it?

Let me know if that would work for you!
Add mine, too, please!
I, too, am requesting closed captioning for Rise 360. Thanks!
Adding my name on the request to add closed captioning to audio. Thanks!
Yes please on closed captioning!
Yes, please increase the accessibility features of Rise 360.
Audio narration is a must for our organization for Rise courses!

Please add my name to the request for closed captioning on audio clips. I'd like to use this feature but cannot if it isn't accessible.
You can export audio as mp4 with subtitles.
This is interesting. How did you do this?
I agree with Lisa, that is interesting! How did you do this one Jack Ding? Does it appear more as a video then?
