We are building our first demo using Rise tool to explore the available possibilities.
We would like to sync the audio with onscreen text. Currently we are able to place the audio as is and trigger it on a click. Is there a way to sync the audio with the onscreen text (audio has to auto-play)?
I agree with you Daniel. We were looking for a complete HTML5 feature for audio syncing. It looks like we have to lean again for Storyline 2 if we can audio to work.
Adam, I agree with you. However, we are able to achieve auto-play of audio in our Custom HTML5 framework based course development. Hence, we were exploring this in Rise to our support customers for whom we develop courses using Articulate products.
I think Articulate should explore this as that will be a great feature to add against other competing products,

Suresh. Looks like you can't synch audio with text with Rise. Check out Articulate 360 to do this.

Mobile devices do not allow auto-play of audio in browsers. It has to be user-initiated. So that's why we've shied away from it in Rise.

Is the only way to add audio accomplished by adding a block, and selecting Multimedia-->Audio?
Hi Cindy,
Yup - you can add it into the Multimedia- Audio lesson type.
