Choose Your Path
Mar 02, 2020
Does anyone know if there is a way to allow the learner to choose their learning path in a Rise course?
I am trying to create a course that allows the learner to choose whether they review a training document or the training video that explains the process. The goal would be to have an icon or image that encourages them to "click here" and then be directed to that part of the Rise course.
Any ideas? Has anyone tried this?

Hello, Julian!
Check out this Rise course that Tom Kuhlmann created. In Lesson 2, he used a button stack with each button linking to a different lesson to create the feeling of a "branching" interaction.
You can even use a button stack to link directly to your document and video if they are both hosted on the web.
Let me know if that would work for your course!
The example that Tom Kuhlmann created looks very similar to what I am looking to build. Are there instructions or a tutorial on how to craft this?
Thanks so much for the feedback.
Hi Julian,
There aren't instructions for creating this type of course, but I'd be happy to show you the way!
Open a new lesson, and insert an Interactive Button Stack block. Hover over the block and click the Edit button. From there you can choose how you want to link the buttons.
This short tutorial video should get you started!
