I am no longer able to copy/paste words and images from Word into Rise. Anyone else having the same issue? The latest update did not resolve the issue.
There was a bug in Rise 360 that allowed images to be pasted into text fields. Sadly, these images put a heavy strain on the Rise 360 database and contributed to a service outage on July 27, 2018. To prevent similar outages, we fixed the bug in our text editor, which means images can no longer be pasted into Rise 360.
For now, you'll want to stick with using text only in text areas. We're looking at ways to make it easier to add images in a text block, and we'll keep you posted on new developments!
Hi Alyssa! Thank you so much for your feedback. I spent a lot of time trying to work out why it's no longer working. I will find another way to add 'small-mini-screenshots' of my action steps.
What a pity! It's not more possible copy/paste images from Word into Rise. This feature is very important for us in development of question mainly (for example: charts, formula, tables).
Sorry this is causing headaches for you, Julian! We recognize that course authors need a way to add images within a text block, and we'll let you know as soon as we have an update with this feature.
Hi Carmela! You can copy text from a Word document and paste it into any block that accepts text. Images cannot be copied and pasted. I hope that helps!
