I'm trying to upload a cover photo and logo. I keep getting the error message "Please verify the file type if an image and try again". the file format is a jpeg and I have tried multiple images, one of which i was able to upload into an image block of the course.
Can anyone tell me why i keep getting this error? :S please, and thank you!
Hi everyone, I am also having the same issue. Then I tried uploading GIF instead of PNG. It worked once, now neither PNG nor GIF works with Labeled Graphic. Does anyone have a solution to this?
Hey all. I had the same issue and reached out to Live Chat. Sounds like the quick fix is to remove all spaces from the file name for now as they work on a solve. It just worked for me!
I have submitted a ticket and done further testing to send to the support team. My issue is persisting and it sounds like yours are as well. Here's hoping we get this resolved quickly! Thanks for all your replies.
Hi everyone! I'm so sorry you all ran into trouble uploading images into Rise 360.
You should now be able to successfully upload the image, even if the file name contains spaces. Be sure to refresh your browser to take advantage of this bug fix.
If you are still having trouble, please open a case here and share the image file with our team.
I am using Chrome. I tried to re-upload a slightly modified version of my logo file and kept getting the same error. "Please verify the file type is an image and try again.".
I am on the latest version of Chrome, Macbook Pro, OsX Catalina. The logo worked the first time - but it isn't uploading now. I have tried both PNG and JPEG versions.
Same error here when trying to update a labelled graphic, even when using the exact same PNG that was uploaded originally. I then made a JPG version which worked for me. It's puzzling.
The error persists! I have to publish my course and a lot of images are simply not loading. Normal Image block, interactive image block, and of course my logo too!
This is puzzling and frustrating. I am hoping this is a small technical glitch at the product end and will get resolved soon.
Thanks Doug! We're seeing an issue with image files that have spaces in the name. While we're investigating, please edit the file name to remove or replace the spaces, and let me know if that works!
I can confirm this issue occurred again and removing the spaces in the filename worked.
I was replacing a screenshot with the same filename. The original jpg file uploaded to Rise had spaces. I renamed the new image with no spaces and it worked.
I am not able to upload an image to Rise 360 I continue to get an error. I have tried using Explorer, chrome and Firefox nothing is working, The image I am trying to upload is saved as a JPG. I have been using Rise 360 for a while now and have never been able to upload an image that is not in the "Image Content Library". Am I doing something wrong? I have included the image I would like to use in the training course I am creating. I'm not sure what my next step should be. Can someone help me?

I'm having the same problem. The image is a normal jpg. Does Rise have an outage?

I have attached the screen shots.
Hey all. I found a solution that worked for me.
My image files were named with two words, but when I renamed the image files without spaces, they uploaded fine.
Example: "large groups" as the image name wouldn't upload, however "groups" worked fine.

Good news, everyone! This problem is now resolved. You should no longer have issues uploading an image with spaces in the file name.
Please refresh your browser to take advantage of this fix, and let us know if you run into any more trouble!
This issue still seems to be happening. i followed the advice however and changed the file name to one word and it worked fine
@Alyssa. Thank you! The fix worked. I have uploaded images - file names with gaps between words.
Yes, one needs to refresh the browser for the fix to work.
Thanks once again! :)
