When you say you want to cover up the start of the video, do you mean to block it out completely because you don't want to be able to see it or do you mean to superimpose the logo over the top so that you can still see the video in the background?
If you simply want to add the logo to the start in place of the video, I would recommend using Articulate Replay (or similar video editing software), if you have access to it, to edit the video accordingly. This will enable you to delete unwanted video and add the logo image in its place.
