I know that Rise courses are responsive but won't it be brilliant if there was a possibility to export Rise courses as downloadable apps for iOS/Android, at the click of a button? What do people think?
There are ways to convert websites into apps. I just tested one here, you can see the mockup of the Rise course as an app. I don't know anything about the service and just used the default settings to see how it works.
I didn't try this for iOS but there is lots of info available on the web for using PhoneGap to convert HTML5 content into iOS apps. The process is basically the same, but it does require additional items, e.g. a developer certificate and provisioning profile.

I love this idea! this would be a wonderful way to send out our newsletter for easy access.

Here is a blog post that provides some info on how to create an Android app with Rise content.
Cool.
Thanks Tom.
Thank you Michael
Is there a blog post on creating iOS app?
Thank you! I am going to play around with this and see what I can come up with.

Hello Michael!
Thanks for sharing, it can be really useful! Can we have Rise content in offline mode? Or download some Rise content from the app?
Thanks!
