Creating multiple courses

Hi,

Sometimes I will select "review" because I want to "publish a new instance" of an existing course. I want to save updates and create a latest version. After selecting review, I sometimes notice that the course I've just been making changes to is not in the drop-down list. So I can't "create a new version of the existing item." It seems that my only recourse is to "Create a New Item," which works, but then my reviewer ends up with multiple versions of the same course. Is there a way to avoid this? I work on a two person team, and we are usually either owner or admin for the course in question.
