Data Reporting
Aug 19, 2020
I have been tasked with recommending the platform and building a mandatory sexual harassment training module for a university. I would like to use Rise because the timeline is tight and the need to engage with a broad swath of the community suggests deploying on the university web site would be better than hosting in the LMS.
I need to be able to have completion recorded (and captured) and I would like to be able to capture the (aggregated) data on how students answered the knowledge check questions I used within and after each unit. The goal is not to pass/fail, but to gauge how well employees, faculty, and students grasp their responsibilities under the law, university policy, and as members of the community.
Is this possible? If yes, how?

Hi Debra,
No completion data is tracked for Knowledge Checks in Rise.
Only the answers for Quiz questions are tracked, and then only if you use the course within a LMS.
Thank you for your reply.
Can you tell me if there is a way to track completion in Storyline 360?
Thank you,
Debra
Hi Debra,
In order to capture completion data, how students answered questions, etc, all require data to be stored in a central location where the data can be collated and reported on. This is exactly what a LMS does, but using a LMS does not seem to be an option for you.
