Deactivate the submit button in a Rise quiz

Aug 12, 2019

Hi

Is it possible to turn off the submit button in the quiz feature in Rise. I have a quiz at the end of a course and have been asked to set it so that user selects an answer and automatically moves onto the next question.

It is not possible to do this in Rise.

From a usability point of view having no SUBMIT button is problematic.

Moving on to the next question as soon as an answer is selected would mean that the learner could not change their mind and choose a different answer option. Also how would the learner answer a question that has multiple correct answers such as a multiple response question.

Hi Mel,

Rise 360 quiz questions will always display the submit button by default.

If you need to customize the quiz, have you considered building it in Storyline 360 and embedding it as a Storyline block in Rise 360? That way, you can customize the quiz exactly to your needs, and you can even track the Rise course by the Storyline quiz score.

Let me know if that would be an option for you!
