Detecting Completion of Rise pieces WITHOUT using xAPI/Scorm

Nov 10, 2017

Hi, we were wondering whether there is a way of detecting, via javascript, the completion of a Rise project. We want to do this WITHOUT Tin Can, as we plan to scale our LMS, and are keen to cut down on unnecessary bandwidth usage which will occur from many tin can statements. Are there any JS events triggered by a non-TinCan/SCORM Rise piece which we can hook onto?

Cheers

Mark

Good Morning, Mark.

Rise is designed to be used in conjunction with a learning management system.  Any LMS that is compliant with SCORM, AICC, or xAPI will provide accurate tracking.

Rise doesn't support tracking results in a text file or database without an LMS.  If you'd like to track your Rise content without an LMS, there may be some experts here in the community who can weigh in with good advice.

Thanks for your question, and Happy Friday!
