My organization is new to all things Articulate. We have an interesting use case where we would like to include certain documents in our courses (using Rise to build courses), but we don't want learners to be able to download these documents. Has anyone done this before? Can you offer some advice?
For background information: we do have lots of documents that we want people to download, just a few that we don't want them to.
It sounds like you want to avoid inserting these documents as PDF files that can be downloaded.
If so, you may want to explore storing the documents in Google Drive and embedding them in Rise 360 using a multimedia embed block. Google Drive has a sharing setting that allows you to disable downloading, shown below:
