Does the Web-Only Export in Rise360 save learner progress?

Hello!

I'm wondering if the web-only export from Rise 360 saves learner progress? I know that the LMS-export will, but I am creating some new training for our organization that is to be available to certain members of the public, so we are planning to host it on our website and use a password for learners to gain access. One of our questions is if the web-only export will save their place if they have to leave the training and come back to it.
