I am wondering if the card sort lesson (sorting activity) can be added as a block to the custom block lesson? I can't seem to find it when I am trying to add a block.

The sorting activity is one of the pre-built lessons, but we've heard a few folks who would like to see those as a block type as well! Our team is looking at the labelled graphic as a block type next, so I'll make sure to pass along your need for the sorting lesson too.

We'll keep you posted here if we have any information to share about that! 

Great news...  Sorting blocks are out in Rise!  Now you can easily add sorting interactions to the custom lessons you create with blocks.

Are there any plans to allow you to add an image instead of text to the sorting activity cards?

I asked this a while back ... as we don't sort words in real life. We see something and process in our mind a yes/no response or what pile/category it goes in.

While there isn't a way to add an image to the sorting activity block, I can understand how that would be a helpful feature! I'll add your vote to that feature request. 😁

Agree! Would love to add images instead of text to the cards. Saves having to create a new interaction in Storyline if we can do it in Rise

Adding images to sorting cards is a much needed feature.

A drag-and-drop activity created in Storyline, can be exported, and added to Rise as a Storyline block.
