I created a Rise Course that contains many embedded video files within it. In preview (in Rise) they all play perfectly fine. Upload to our LMS (Taleo currently) and I am getting the error "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." Image attached for reference.
Is this error caused by the LMS not being able to handle a Rise Course, or something else?
Hi there, Chris. Only some LMS users are seeing this error, so we're investigating on a case by case basis. I've sent this information to our senior support engineers, and we'll be in touch with you as soon as possible!
Hi, Alexander. In Chris's case, exporting his content again resolved the issue, but we wanted to explore further how his new output differed from his former output. I'm going to connect you with our senior support engineers as well so we can work closely with you. You'll get an email from us soon.
Ok thanks, please be aware that I need to resolve this problem tomorrow morning the latest. Otherwise, I will have to take the video down and that's not going to make our decision makers happy.
We are also seeing this error as well. The recommendations you have listed did not resolve the issue. I would also like to add that the error is seen in Preview as well and is inconsistent. Often, upon revisiting the lesson, the videos will work.

Crystal, do we have a resolution for this? I 'm getting the same error.

Understood. Thanks for giving some context here, Alexander.
Hi, was this resolved? I'm getting the same error.
Hi Alison! Sorry you ran into this error. Let's try this:
Let me know if that solves it!
Alison,
We actually recently switched LMS's (From Taleo to SumTotal). This error was only occurring on Taleo, and has not reoccurred.
