Hi I am trying to export my RISE eLearning to pdf so that I can attach it as evidence in a report. However I am just getting a never end loop and no product exported. I recently updated my Articulate 360.
Hi there, Melinda. I'm sorry your course seems to be stuck! I can't actually access your course from that link - it's only available to you as the author.
I'm going to open a case for you with our support team so we can get some course details from you and see what we can do to help! Look for an email from support@articulate.com with some next step. Thanks!
First, can you check if you have a process block included? I saw an issue last night where that's causing the PDF to export as a blank page. If you remove that process block it should work - but our team is looking into that right now.
If you don't have a process block, can you check what browser you're using to export the course? You'll want to use one of the browsers listed here.
In my case I do have process block but can't get rid of that i need it there it has a purpose to show it like that, but definitely not the browser i tested them in all the ones on your list ... any other solution?
Our team is working on the issue right now - so we'll let you know as soon as a fix is in place.
If you need a PDF copy before we have the fix in place, you could duplicate the course and then delete the process block to export out a partial PDF. Having a duplicate will allow you to keep the course intact with the process block and have a copy you can export for the time being.
Hello Ashley thanks for helping resolve this issue, I do need to have the PDF version by friday 26th with everything i can't have any partials pdfs since is the final version of the RISE module
I would just like to add some 'heat' to the discussion... I also need to demonstrate how easy it is to generate handouts of our lessons to my boss. I do have process interactions included (a lot!) but need this issue resolved this week due to the deadline, please.
It's nice to know I'm not alone with this however, I too need to have a full pdf file this week. Also, where do I check "process blocked" that's mentioned?
Thanks for letting me know this is impacting you as well, Doug, Iba, Anu, and Andrea.
Anu, for demonstration purposes only if you made a course that did not include a Process block you'd be able to export that as a PDF. You could use that as a working example to show your boss while our team continues to fix this up.
Andrea, you'll need to look in your lessons to see if you've added a Process block there. They look like this:
Perhaps you could use the Flashcard Grid option. Simply label the front of the cards Step 1, Step 2, etc... I would only recommend this if your content is minimal which will help avoid scroll bars on the backside. You can also reduce the font if the content is tight.
Thank you for that suggestion. I actually change the information to a timeline because I thought the information displayed better than using flashcards. I thought that would eliminate me waiting.
However, have I changed the information I tried exporting a PDF and received no output.
I just tried exporting a PDF after changing the process block earlier and I did receive a pdf with all the content. Maybe I wasn’t patient long enough.
Yes I do have a process block in the course. However copying the course then removing the process block defeats the point of the PDF. That is part of the course and is an import part....

Thanks, Kristina for that timeline and I'll let our team know about the deadline you're under. We'll let you know here as soon as we can!
Same here Ashley. No timeline, but my demo for boss kind of went south when I was showcasing how easy it is to export our content to .pdf. : |
Same issue here.

Hello again,
Yes, I actually do have a process block. Should I change that to something else to avoid any more delay?
Thanks,
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
If you've removed the Process block the course should export - can you check that the entire lesson is gone, not just removed content from it?
Hello,
I just tried exporting a PDF after changing the process block earlier and I did receive a pdf with all the content. Maybe I wasn’t patient long enough.
Thank you for all your support.

Any updates on the PDF Exporting issue? I am rushing now haha delivery tomorrow =0/
Hi all,
Thanks for your patience - the issue where you couldn't export a course to PDF if it included a process block is now fixed.
Please let us know if you need anything else!
Thanks Ashley and Development for addressing this. I appreciate it! Tried it and it works great.
Hi there,
I'm still evaluating RISE and wanted to make a suggestion. Please see
