Hi, trying to add flashcards to my remote learning presentation. But I cannot seem to edit the flashcards to create text. Also seem to be stuck with a stock photo.
I can open the flashcard block in Edit mode. I can change from text to images. However, I cannot select the default text to edit it. I can select the default images and change them.
I switched from Edge to Chrome. I restarted my computer and still no luck. I do not know why I cannot edit the default text on the Flashcard.
I added several other block types and they all appear to be working correctly. I'm confused.
If you are able to change the default images, you should be able to edit the text for the cards as well. See the image below that indicates where the text can be edited..
Well, I agree it is not obvious at all. Edith, thanks for your highlighting and stating "New text for front of card 1" in your explanation. I also think adding "type new text here" or similar would be very helpful.

Hi Dian!
Are you using the Microsoft Edge browser? If so, are you unable to see the editing buttons when hovering over a block?
Please update your Microsoft Edge browser to the latest version (Chromium-based) and that should resolve the issue. You can also switch to a different web browser like Chrome if you're unable to update Microsoft Edge.
Hi Dian,
Select the Flashcard block.
Choose EDIT on the left.
This will display a list of the flashcards.
Here you can edit the text, and add or change the graphics,

Karl - thank you SO much! I was trying to edit the text INSIDE the selection box. Duh!! It's been a long day!
Thank you again so very, very much!
Lucky this site was here! I was doing just what Edith was doing! It's not obvious unless you know. Maybe bracket [Type here]?
if that worked I wouldn't be here
Hi Deborah,
Referring to my post above, the default text has now been changed to:
Front of card 1
and
Back of card 1
Select either of these default texts and replace with your own text.
