Looks like the target date was adjusted for Q4, which as you mentioned we are in now. I do not have anything more specific than that.
If you have a question for Ragesh's share above, you are certainly welcome to reach out to the user directly via the 'Contact Me' option on the user profile if you do not hear back soon.
Our newest Rise update is here, and this update includes the feature: Personalize your Rise courses with custom fonts for headings and body text. Just upload your font files in the theme settings.
Please be sure to check out our community post here for additional information as well as a quick video guide.
We hope you enjoy, and please let us know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
Hi, the custom font feature works well, but there are some bugs.
I've noticed that you can't change the lesson title font. I've attached a screenshot below. I've tried that with custom and with ready fonts - the lesson titles won't change. It is a big problem for me, because I use a different language and that breaks non English letters.
Great question - and I recorded a quick Peek video showing how I adjusted the title font for the course and the lesson. I can see that the font type doesn't change in the Table of Contents section, which is what I suspect you may be running into a problem with.
Do you have an example of this that we could take a look at? That would be really helpful as then I can share with my team as a possible bug. If you wanted to share some images or font files with us you can upload here or send along to our Support engineers here so that we can do further testing!
Hi Ashley, we are also having almost the same issue as Jakub above. When we customize the font the labels will not be in the font like headers and text. Is there any update on this?
Hi Leslie, thank you for the warm welcome :)! Not quite, I am referring especially to the font of the labels (western fonts). When we change the font headings and text will change perfectly. The labels and the menu texts on the left will not unfortunately. Can we change the fonts of them aswell?
Hello, a question from a client. As Rise is completely web based, can they upload the required custom fonts permanently or will they need to upload it every time they edit or create a new build within Rise.
If you upload a custom font to a course, all of the collaborators on that course will be able to see and use that font. However, if they'd like to apply that font to another course, they will need to upload it manually.
I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi,
Just edit your published file.. Index.html (ex: brand--head, .brand--head * { font-family: Arial !important; })
Hi Tony,
We're working on a feature to allow custom fonts in Rise.
The target release for that is Q3 '17 - so we'll keep you posted!
Excellent :)

It's now Q4...any update? Can you edit the output as described by Ragesh above?

Would be great to get more infos about "custom fonts" - for me it's THE blocker to use rise until now efficiently.
Hey Thomas,
We’re working on this feature right now! We're planning to release this very soon, and once we are ready to roll that out, we’ll let you know!
Great news, everyone!

Is this a known issue?

Hello Anna-Lena and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
We do have a feature submitted for non-Western font support in the sidebar.
Is that what you are referring to?
Hi Leslie,
thank you for the warm welcome :)!
Not quite, I am referring especially to the font of the labels (western fonts). When we change the font headings and text will change perfectly. The labels and the menu texts on the left will not unfortunately. Can we change the fonts of them aswell?
Hi Anna-Lena,
The label fonts are set separately than the lesson text, so those won't use the custom fonts you've added.
We'll let you know if we add the option for custom fonts to be used on labels too!
Hello, a question from a client. As Rise is completely web based, can they upload the required custom fonts permanently or will they need to upload it every time they edit or create a new build within Rise.
Thanks, Ann.
Hi Ann,
Once you add a custom font to Rise, you'll have access to it through your Manage Custom Fonts popup that you can access while editing the theme.
Let me know if you need anything else!
Will custom fonts appear for everyone on a team account, or will each team member need to upload the custom font(s)?
Hi Chris,
If you upload a custom font to a course, all of the collaborators on that course will be able to see and use that font. However, if they'd like to apply that font to another course, they will need to upload it manually.

Hello,
I'm using SumTotal and need to get rid of ttf. I removed it from the font file and rezipped but my course is still not loading.
Hi Angela,
I see that you posted about this issue over here as well. It sounds like this is an LMS issue, so I would reach out to Sum Total directly.
In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
