Getting 'kicked out' of Rise

I have the same problem. And it keeps getting worse. I just got a message to take control from an other session from 7 hours (!) ago. I am afraid I'll loose everything if I continue. Please help!

Thought I better hop on this thread given that it's reasonably recent. I've just lost about 6 hours of work as a result of this. Is there a solution as I'm getting to the point of regarding the product as unusable.

I'm really sorry that keeps happening to you, Curtis. I know its frustrating to lose a day's work. We're trying all we can to reproduce this problem on our side, but so far we haven't had luck. 

What web browser were you using when this happened? What did you do just before you saw the "Take Control" message?

This is also happening to me. Just now I lost 20 minutes of meticulous work on an interactive diagram. Every few minutes or so it freezes and I have to sign in again. It also happens if I switch to another tab to check my email or look at my source material. I thought it was because I am using a trial version. It is highly frustrating because I don't know how long I have been signed out. I just get a rude surprise when I log back in and see that none of the work I have done for the past 15 or so minutes was saved. To answer the questions posed above, I am the only one working on the course. So it is odd when I log back in and get a message that I am editing a section and if I want to take control from myself. I'm using the most recent version of Chrome. I have not tried going incognito or in any other browser. I'm trying to build a course to use to sell this to my manager as a worthwhile, faster option. But this bug is a real deal killer.

Any chance a save option is in the works? Also, when you purchase Articulate 360, will Rise be hosted on my company's own servers?

Hi Crystal, I'm having the same issue. I am the only person working on my course and am using Chrome. It's happening every 5 minutes or so. Help!

I did a lot of my own research, the only answer I've found is to use Microsoft Edge as a browser, on my computer systems I couldn't get Google Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer to work as desired. For me, Microsoft Edge was the answer.

I keep getting timed out and told to refresh. It tells me my computer is offline but it isn't. Refreshing does nothing. I'm on a tight deadline for an orientation course for 500 learners that goes live soon. Please help.

I think right now it's an issue because I just experienced the same thing. I think this is an Articulate issue at the moment.

I subscribe to the 'Articulate Status' notifications; it helps to know when there are known issues - it helps me keep my sanity!
