During a recent webinar, Tom Kulhmann demonstrated how to get rid of the black border either side of a SL block in Rise (for example when the border is 16:9 but the SL slide/video is 14:3). Unfortunately I've mislaid the recording and it isn't online yet. I can't find the solution in the discussions so post this in the hope that someone can assist.
Select modern player. I like to use the light player and SL slides with a white background.
Turn off features in the player
Publish and insert into Rise.
You'll always have a very small remnant of a player but if you colorize the block to match the player, it's close to seamless. That's why I go with the light.
