I have been testing Rise pages that I've built using Apple VoiceOver. I'm noticing that when I use alt tag nulls for images that Safari is reading the file name instead of skipping the image as it should. Safari is correctly skipping images with alt tag nulls on sites other than rise. Chrome is properly skipping the null. Is this a known compatibility issue with Safari and Rise? Anyone else running into something like this this?
We are working toward full screen reader support of Rise 360 content, but we're not there yet. In the meantime, you might find that screen readers don't work as expected with Rise 360.
Our goal is to get Rise 360 output WCAG 2.1 compliant by the end of 2020. As we have more details and updates, we'll pass along that information to you!
