yes we had complaints about this too. We found out it happenes when pictures/media gets blocked (firewall etc.) or when the user gets an " automatic timeout" of the LMS because of inactivity.
Already loaded pictures are still there and the user can still navigate throught the course, but the pictures will not be shown and the progress will not be saved. Our LMS (Ilias) doesn´t inform you about an automatic timeout, so you are not aware of it until closing the course. I don´t know how Moodle is handling this.
We didn´t contact Articulate about this, because it`s mainly a problem of our LMS/firewall and browser. We still don´t know, what´s the exact problem (or combination), which we could adress to Articulate.
