I am both hoping and wondering if it is possible to get an image embedded with a text box in Rise. Specifically an icon. A colleague did manage to do this by cutting and pasting and image and text combo from Word but I haven't been successful. Is this possible?
You can include an image with text in Rise, but you need to go to the Image blocks section and not the Text blocks one. Down the bottom of the list are two options to include either Image & Text or Text on Image. I am assuming it is probably the former that you are more interested in.
If you are simply looking at adding a company logo to your course, you can also do this through the Course Settings on the opening page of your course.
It would be helpful to have something similar to the Quote Styles where you can have a small image but without the text having quotes around it (example attached). Better yet having a wysiwyg editor (as in this comment box) where you can add an image would be great.
Did you get an answer for this yet as I am looking for the same thing! I just need a small icon to use inside a text box. Any help will be much appreciated!
Hello, Magda! Right now, you can't add images or icons in the text fields of Rise 360. Your best bet is to use an image & text block. We'll let you know if we make any changes!
Hello! We dream about this option too! My material experts are asking me to do this but I also can't find the ways to insert tiny icons between the words in text box. All other images options I know well. Thank you for such simple tool as Rise.
Just stumbled across this thread searching to do the exact same thing, add an icon into a text box. Hopefully it is something we can look forward to in the new versions of Rise :)
I just wanted to throw a vote behind adding images in line with text blocks. The inability to puts a real squeeze on technical training when we need to use a series of icons with written content to support knowledge transfer. The lack of the ability to do this has an adverse impact on content authoring for technical training purposes.
Clearly RISE is not suitable for supporting technical learning modules as it is imperative to have an image support text. It is therefore not fit for purpose and I will be asking my company to stop using this tool and look for an alternative
We really need the ability to add images/graphics and then to be able to add text boxes on the images for the title, etc. Using PPT and then uploading is doable but the image and the text look grainy and out of focus.

can this feature be added to add a image to a text block?
Hi SibaPrasad,
We're looking at ways to make it easier to add image files to text blocks. If we add this feature to Rise 360 in the future, we'll let you know!

Thanks for adding your voice, Iuliia. And you're welcome! 😊

Thanks for continuously developing the programme!
I agree. That would be great!
Hi, we'd like to add an icon with text to the right too. Is there any update on this work? Thanks for making a great product!
Hi Petra! No updates on this yet, but we'll let our team know about the need for this. You can try using image & text block for now.
Thanks for letting us know having the ability to add an icon or an image inline would help!
